Balkan Pharmaceuticals is a pharmaceutical company founded in 2006.
To achieve these goals, the company uses the latest research results in the field of pharmaceuticals, produces and supplies high-quality medicines for the prevention and treatment of various diseases.
Balkan Pharmaceuticals has set its main task to produce only high-quality medicines, which would also have an acceptable price based on the purchasing power of an ordinary citizen. And with large donations offered to medical institutions, the company represents a model of corporate social responsibility, alternately contributing to the achievement of the task.
The company has been operating in the Moldovan market since 2006. In January 2009, she registered her first drugs on the Ukrainian market. In October 2010, Balkan Pharmaceuticals won a public procurement program, which allowed the company to supply medicines to public clinics and hospitals. At the same time, the company began investing in its new production complex in Singer.
Currently, the company owns two manufacturing enterprises, which employ more than 200 employees – doctors, chemists, technologists, programmers, engineers. All of them are highly qualified specialists. The company’s goal is to create qualified, competent personnel in Moldova who would meet all the requirements of work related to pharmaceutical production. Therefore, specialists from abroad – Ukraine, Romania and other European countries – are periodically attracted to improve and maintain the qualifications of employees.
At the moment, the company’s portfolio includes more than 250 drugs in various forms and dosages, including anticancer drugs, hormonal drugs, drugs affecting the nervous system, cardiovascular system, digestion, anti-cancer drugs
Balkan Pharmaceuticals is an important Romanian investment. The company has invested millions of euros in the construction of a new plant in Singer. The building is well equipped, has advanced systems that have no analogues in Europe. The plant allows to increase the volume of production and possible expansion to the CIS and EU markets.
Unlike other industries, the pharmaceutical industry imposes strict requirements on the production process. The Singer plant with an area of more than 10 thousand square meters meets all the requirements of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).
Many advanced systems have been installed at the facility to ensure its proper functioning and provide a pleasant and safe working environment for professionals. The production of medicines is a very complex process that requires perfect accuracy. The process is controlled remotely using an automated and modern monitoring system with an access control system that ensures the sterility of the finished product and raw materials. The engineers involved in the project say that there are currently no such systems in Moldova from a technical point of view.
